I was quite stirred by the questions posed in the free Menopause sessions @Redschool. Alexandra Pope asks women in Peri and Menopause to look to their own self care and to take that 1 %. 1% of time for you, to do what you would like, to nourish yourself and give the room and nurturing you deserve. 1% quickly grows. Have a think about when you last spent time looking after yourself or just doing things you love. I was supposed to do some work today, but I did not. I sat watching the baby chicks in the garden, and let my tides out, deeply relaxing, taking in the sounds of peep and twitter. I then went to the Gym and lifted some weights for my bone strength and ran until my heart was happy, sweating too, which is a great way to detox the body. I hope you get the time you deserve to do the things that make you happy. The good hormones serotonin and oxytocin come from that, some hormones are ours for the making.
