What is a women's yoga circle? or a yoga circle?
Although this is an ancient tradition and way of understanding, it is somewhat of a new phenomena.
Last year I trained with The Way of Council, to explore and learn how to hold talking circles, to share meaningful time together, and to listen and speak from the heart.
It is very healing to witness others as we also learn about ourselves. Spontaneous stories are both universal, symbolic and personal. A circle is a place to listen and be heard or be silent, as you wish, often your own words or feelings are expressed by another.
With a yoga circle, there is both talking and moving and resting in the practises of Hatha, Yin and Yoga Nidra. It is the most nourishing space to inhabit.
Each circle brings a fresh perspective and energy.
