How do you feel during the change of seasons? The transition between summer and autumn can be challenging, especially when there are days of summer followed by days of autumn and back again.
This week we have been aligning our yoga practice to the seasons, the autumn equinox and the moon. In this way, we bring ourselves closer to these elemental shifts. Being closer to nature and the seasons keeps us in the present, changing our habits accordingly.
More warming foods and drinks, richer oilier foods, warmer clothes, colours; earlier to bed, later to rise?
If I do these things I find the shift easier on my system.
